Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Presence Digital (“we”, “us”) handles personal information when you use presencedigital.io. We are a UK-based studio. You can reach us at info@presencedigital.io.

Information we collect

We only collect information we need to reply to you, run the site, and understand how it is used.

• Contact enquiries. If you use the contact form, we receive your name, email address, message, and company name if you provide one. The form is delivered by email to info@presencedigital.io through our email provider, SendPigeon.
• Security data. When you submit the form, we use your IP address for a short time to limit repeated submissions. That rate-limit record is held in server memory and is not stored in a database.
• Site usage. We use Google Tag Manager (container GTM-5346HV). It can record page views, whether a page is the home page, blog, or another page, which article was opened, how far an article was scrolled, and whether a contact form succeeded. See the Cookie Policy for the cookies involved.
• Admin access. Team members who sign in to the content tools get a session cookie. Connecting the studio LinkedIn account stores a short-lived security token during sign-in. These are not set for ordinary visitors.

How we use it

• To reply to enquiries and provide the services you ask about.
• To keep the site available and reduce spam and abuse.
• To understand which pages and articles are useful, so we can improve the site.
• To operate the private content tools used by our team.

We rely on legitimate interests to run the site, measure its use, and protect it from abuse. We rely on the steps you take when you send us an enquiry (so we can respond). We do not sell personal information.

Who we share it with

We share information only with services that help us operate the site:

• SendPigeon — delivers contact-form emails.
• Google — Tag Manager and analytics measurement, and fonts loaded from Google Fonts. Google may process your IP address and usage data. Google’s privacy information is at policies.google.com/privacy.
• Google Firebase — stores published blog content and authenticates team members in the private admin area.

Some of these providers process data outside the UK. Where they do, they use appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or adequacy regulations.

How long we keep it

• Enquiry emails are kept for as long as we need them to handle your request and any follow-up, then deleted from our mail.
• Rate-limit records expire within about an hour and are discarded when the server restarts.
• Analytics data is kept according to the retention settings in Google Analytics.
• Admin session cookies last up to 5 days. The LinkedIn sign-in token lasts about 10 minutes.

Your rights

If UK data protection law applies to you, you can ask us for a copy of your personal information, to correct it, to delete it, to limit how we use it, or to object to processing based on legitimate interests. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Children

This site is aimed at businesses and professionals. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
